By the end of this programme, participants will understand what it means to be a leader. Participants will learn how leaders lead, which will help guide them as leaders and aspiring leaders. If they are already in leadership positions, it will show them what they may be doing wrongly and what they need to correct.
Participants will also understand what authority and power are, and how they impact leadership. They will learn about delegating authority, a practical issue many leaders have a problem with. The programme helps participants understand power through 7 Realities of Power, and also teaches how to build influence.
This programme helps participants look deeply at themselves, challenging them to attain their best. Using case studies, practical examples, and opportunities for self-application of the content, you will come away equipped to start or continue the journey to more effective leadership no matter where you are.

This programme helps participants develop their leadership capacity, the first fundamental requirement for effective leadership.
Highlights of this programme include:
• What leadership capacity is and why it is important for leadership
• What you need to do to develop your leadership capacity
• Three important leadership capabilities: Problem solving; Achieving Results and Collaboration
• Why they are important for effective leadership
• How to improve in each of them
• Identifying the things that hinder you regarding these three capabilities.

Leadership capacity is fundamental to effective leadership and this programme shows participants why. This programme helps participants assess their current leadership capacity and what they need to do to develop it for greater leadership effectiveness.
While there are a number of leadership capabilities, the programme looks at three important ones: Problem Solving; Achieving Results and Collaboration. They will learn what each of these mean for them as leaders or aspiring leaders; how they can be better at each of these leadership capabilities and what some of the things that hinder growth in them are.
